Exam Syllabus
Refrigeration removes heat | Latent heat during phase change | Saturation pressure and temperature | Reading the pressure–enthalpy diagram
Match compressor capacity to demand | Condensing pressure and compression work | Respect the compressor operating envelope | Prevent reverse flow at shutdown
DX feed responds to outlet superheat | Calculate DX outlet superheat | Keep liquid return out of a DX suction path | Relate media temperature control to limits
Distinguish DX from flooded feed | The separator handles flooded return | Pumps circulate liquid through flooded evaporators | Low-pressure level regulation
Distinguish DC from AC | Voltage is potential difference | Current is charge flow per time | Resistance opposes current
Water affinity affects ammonia leak behavior | Ammonia can burn under high-concentration conditions | Treat suspected ammonia releases seriously | Know the emergency action plan

Sofia L.
Technical Conquer learner
“While preparing for RETA-CIRO, I keep a small list of mistakes from Ammonia Safety and Process Documentation. Reviewing why each answer went wrong keeps my study sessions more focused than simply rereading notes.”
Dana W.
Technical Conquer learner
“Great RETA-CIRO prep. Technical Conquer was clear and easy to use!”
Victor S.
Technical Conquer learner
“For RETA-CIRO, Refrigeration Cycle and System Components was the area I kept postponing. Breaking it into a few practice questions at a time makes the material much easier to revisit after work.”
Amara K.
Technical Conquer learner
“My RETA-CIRO routine is simple: one timed set, a short break, then a careful review of Industrial Refrigeration Operating Conditions. The explanations show whether I understood the idea or just guessed well.”
Leo F.
Technical Conquer learner
“The RETA-CIRO practice questions kept my review focused.”
Nadia F.
Technical Conquer learner
“I use lunch breaks to review Electrical Controls and Troubleshooting for RETA-CIRO. Short sessions work better for me because I can focus on one weak area without trying to cover the whole syllabus at once.”
Jonas P.
Technical Conquer learner
“The hardest part of RETA-CIRO prep for me is keeping similar ideas in Ammonia Safety and Process Documentation separate. I now write one-line comparisons after each practice set, which makes the next review much clearer.”
Rosa M.
Technical Conquer learner
“Technical Conquer made RETA-CIRO prep simple and easy to follow.”
Jamal W.
Technical Conquer learner
“I am still working through RETA-CIRO, especially Refrigeration Cycle and System Components. Going back through missed questions slowly has shown me which details I rush past when I practice under time pressure.”
Yuki S.
Technical Conquer learner
“RETA-CIRO review felt much more manageable with these tools.”
“The practice questions are superbly crafted, making exam preparation a breeze. The explanations provided after this question are like gold dust.”
“Thanks to the well-organized practice questions, I was able to tackle my exam preparations with ease. The questions are thoughtfully designed to closely resemble those in the actual exam.”
“the practice questions are helpful similar to the topics covered in the real exams i love the detailed explanation provided right after each question”
“The well-structured practice questions really help me prepare for the exams conveniently.”
“the practice questions are incredibly helpful, closely resembling the real exam scenarios. There are very detailed explanations provided and actually studying has never been this efficient.”
“The practice questions, key study notes, and supportive staff all help me pass the exam. The best thing is the questions are well structured and similar to the ones on the exam.”
Of course you can. Any exam can be prepared for independently. But you’ll spend weeks extracting key concepts from dense manuals, guessing which topics are actually tested, and hoping you covered enough.
Or you can let our full-time exam team do that heavy work for you — so you can focus on practice, pass on your first attempt, and spend your evenings with friends and family instead of buried in textbooks.
FAQ
The 2026 handbook lists eight broad content areas, including heat flow, electricity, system performance, controls, flooded systems, two-stage systems, safety, and evaporator defrost. It does not publish detailed objectives for each area.
A DX evaporator meters refrigerant so it evaporates through the coil and leaves superheated. A flooded or pumped-circulation evaporator receives excess liquid; the returning mixture goes to a separator so vapor can be directed to compressor suction.
Non-condensables do not condense with the refrigerant under condenser conditions. Their accumulation can occupy condenser surface, raise condensing pressure, and increase compressor work. Purge locations depend on system arrangement, so use approved plant procedures and design information.
